In Pics: Clontarf 23 Cork Constitution 16

Click here for photos from Saturday’s AIB League Division One meeting between Clontarf and Cork Constitution at Castle Avenue.

Pictured above: Clontarf hooker Niall Carson takes on bandaged Con fly-half Daragh Lyons. Carson bagged a try after only 55 seconds to set ‘Tarf on their way to their fifth win of the season. Lyons kicked 11 points for the visitors but it was not enough to prevent Con’s five-game unbeaten streak from coming to an end.

Con lock Shane Cottrell passes out of the tackle from Clontarf full-back Daragh O’Shea. Cottrell was unfortunate to be caught out in a one-on-one situation with ‘Tarf winger Max Rantz-McDonald for the match-winning try for north Dubliners on 55 minutes.

Con back row and captain Frank Cogan takes on ‘Tarf scrum half Fiach O’Loughlin, a summer signing from champions Shannon, at Castle Avenue.

Con winger Cronan Healy tries to get past Clontarf flanker Declan Quinn.
