IRFU Welcome Funding To Abbotstown

The IRFU warmly welcomes the announcement today from the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism, that funding will allow him to proceed with Phase 1 of the Abbotstown Sports Campus programme.

The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) warmly welcomes the announcement today from the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism, Mr. John O’Donoghue TD., that funding provided by Wednesday’s budget announcement will allow him to proceed with Phase 1 of the Abbotstown Sports Campus programme.

The IRFU looks forward to its players and squads utilising the training and medical facilities that will be provided in the development.

The IRFU further expresses its appreciation of the EUR20 million set aside next year by the Minister for the redevelopment of Lansdowne Road.
