Although Ireland missed out on last season’s RBS Six Nations, thanks to the generosity of a devoted club member, the famous trophy will be making an appearance this weekend at Dromore RFC.

Although Ireland missed out on winning last season’s RBS Six Nations, thanks to the generosity of a devoted club member, the famous trophy will be making an appearance this weekend at Dromore RFC.

Peter Moore, a former player with the the County Down club, entered the RBS Six Nations Dreams Competition – with prizes that were designed to make a rugby fans dreams come true. The rewards included a 5-star trip for two to the capital city of the RBS 6 Nations 2005 Champions, and the chance to win a coaching session with an international rugby player.

The competition also offered a lucky fan the opportunity to win the RBS Six Nations Trophy for one day, giving them exclusive use of the sterling silver trophy.

Peter Moore won the privilege of having the trophy for a day and kindly arranged for it to be available at Dromore RFC tomorrow – Saturday, September 10 – where the club are hosting the Ulster v Leinster Junior Interprovincial match that day at 2.30pm.

The trophy will be flown into the province and will be guarded throughout its stay, but will be available for rugby fans to pose with it for a photo opportunity.
