Bradley To Lead Ireland ‘A’ Again

The IRFU has confirmed appointments to the Ireland national representative sides for the coming season at ‘A’, Under-21 and Under-19 levels.

The IRFU has confirmed appointments to the Ireland national representatives sides for the coming season at ‘A’, Under-21 and Under-19 levels.

Following their successful outing against France in Donnybrook last season, which they won 15-9, the Ireland ‘A’ side will play three matches this season during the RBS Six Nations Championship against France (away), Scotland (home) and England (away).

The side will again be guided by Connacht coach Michael Bradley, who will be assisted by Ulster assistant coach Allen Clarke, with Joe Miles acting as manager to the mean.

At Under-21 level, Mark McDermott has been confirmed as head coach with Niall O’Shea joining him as team manager.

The Ireland Under-19 team will be managed by Keith Patten and coached by Charlie McAleese. He will be assisted by Bobby Byrne and former Ireland international Killian Keane.

NATIONAL MANAGEMENT TEAMS 2005/06:

‘A’:

Coach – Michael Bradley; Assistant Coach – Allen Clarke; Manager – Joe Miles

Under-21:

Coach – Mark McDermott; Manager – Niall O’Shea

Under-19:

Coach – Charlie McAleese; Assistant Coaches – Bobby Byrne, Killian Keane; Manager – Keith Patten
