Our congratulations again go to an Exiles’ product, scrum-half Kieran Campbell, who gained his first full international cap for Ireland when he came on to replace Peter Stringer in the win over Japan on Sunday past (12 June).

It was a notable day for Exiles’ players as Kevin Maggs took over the captaincy of Ireland in the above game, when David Humphreys went off injured, and also scored a try; to complete the picture, Simon Easterby was selected to make his first appearance in a Lions’ jersey, v. Wellington on Wednesday coming.
