Our congratulations go to No. 8 Carl Cimpoias, who has been selected for the Romanian U21 squad to play in the World Cup in Argentina this month. He is living proof that being dual-qualified’ does not just mean that you are eligible for Ireland and England!
Carl learnt his Rugby at a famous nursery – Stonyhurst College – and has come through the Exiles’ system, starting with the Screening Camp and playing for our U17, U18, U19 and U20 XVs to date. He is currently Captain of Oxford Brookes University 1st XV, leading them in to the British Universities’ Premier League, for the first time, last season.
