AIB League Division 3 Final

A revised transfer form for any club players who wish to transfer clubs has been introduced for the 2005/06 season. Click here for more details.

If a player wishes to transfer between clubs the following steps must be undertaken:

(1) The player completes Part 1 – Notice of intention to change clubs – and delivers it by hand to one of the named club officers.
(a) If this is done prior to the appropriate registration date the club officer must sign the form as the transfer cannot be prevented.
(b) If this is done after the appropriate registration date the club officer may refuse to sign. The transfer can proceed only if the club officer agrees to sign.

(2) When Part 1 is completed, the player retains the original, the club may retain a copy.

(3) The player and his new club complete Part 2 and deliver it to the branch to which the club is affiliated. This must be done before the registration date.

(4) A branch official completes Part 3, retains it and sends copies to the new club and to the IRFU if either the former club or the new club are AIB League Clubs.

For the 2005/2006 season, the registration dates are:
(i) for AIB League clubs – June 1, 2005
(ii) for non-AIB League clubs – September 1, 2005
