Speaking on behalf of AIB, General Manager Maurice Crowley said: “We are delighted that the Division 1, 2 and 3 finals will each be played in Lansdowne on the same day. Finals day is the highlight of the club rugby calendar each year, and last year’s finals day proved to be a huge success with our focus on making this a day for all the family.”

“A great atmosphere is bound to prevail in and around Lansdowne Road on the day, and I would encourage everyone to come along and support club rugby in general.”

Two of last year’s winners – Division One’s Shannon and Greystones of Division Three are on course to make consecutive final appearances, as both sides currently lead their respective leagues.

UL Bohs – beaten by a last-minute drop goal from promoted Trinity’s Pierre Lazies in last May’s Division Two final – are also well in touch going into the final round, sitting just two points behind table-toppers Dolphin.

** In case of adverse weather conditions, the Division Three final may be moved from Lansdowne Road’s main pitch to the back pitch.
