Exiles in U21 Squad and Sevens Squad

Mark Bruce retains his place in the Ireland Sevens Squad that will play in the World Cup Sevens in Hong Kong.Brett McNamee and Kieran Geraghty both continue in the Ireland U21 squad.

Mark Bruce, scrum half with Loughborough University, retains his place in the Ireland Sevens Squad that will play in the World Cup Sevens in Hong Kong. Bruce was involved in the Ireland Squad that competed in the IRB competitions in Dubai and South Africa. The squad will head off to Hong Kong on March 10th 2005. Mark has a wealth of Sevens experience having competed with his school The Oratory, Reading at the National Schools Sevens and on the extensive Sevens Circuit in England with Loughborough.

Brett McNamee and Kieran Geraghty both continue in the Ireland U21 squad and hope to line up against France and Thomond Park on Friday evening. Brett, who plays in the back row for Northampton, captained Ireland on their last outing against England. Kieran, a former pupil of that rugby breeding ground Colstons in Bristol, plays at wing or centre and is currently with London Irish. They have both come up through the Exiles system and both played for Ireland at U19 level.
