O’Sullivan adds five to Irish squad

For Victor Costello, this represents a terrific return to form, as he, like Eric Miller, had been under huge pressure for his Leinster place.

John Kelly has shown good form for Munster since returning from injury, as had Wilson for Ulster.

Gavin Duffy, not selected by Harlequins at the weekend, gets his reward for performing well when he came on against the South Africans in the second test.
