Kieron Dawson out for three months

Not another one! Kieron Dawson joins the list of injured Irish opensides and will miss the next three months with a knee injury.

With Keith Gleeson and Neil McMillan out for the season, Irish rugby could have done without another leading openside getting seriously injured.

However, Kieron Dawson, 21 times capped for Ireland, will be out for three months following an injury to his medial ligament and medial hamstring sustained while playing against Leeds last weekend.

It further adds to London Irish’s injury situation which sees Paul Sackey, Darren Edwards, Adrian Flavin, Rodd Penney and new signing Peter Poulos on the long term injured list.
