The second row pairing of Donncha O’Callaghan and Paul O’Connell miss out through injury, while David Wallace returns to the Munster back row for their Celtic League clash with Glasgow.

O’Callaghan hasn’t recovered yet from a torn calf muscle sustained a week ago, while O’Connell, who made an impression on his return last weekend, misses out with a rib injury. Consequently, Trevor Hogan retains his place while Tom Bowman comes in for O’Connell.

After the high profile inclusion of Denis Leamy for David Wallace for last weekend, Wallace gets his turn for this match, included at wing forward with Leamy on the bench.

James Storey and Shaun Payne come into the backline for Rob Henderson and John Kelly respectively, as Gaffney still appears to be shaping his best team and giving opportunities for players to state their cases.

Replacements:
J. Kelly, P. Burke, E. Reddan, S. Keogh, D. Leamy, G. McIlwham, J. Flannery.
