Worthy Lions Tour Walk

Following the successful walks during the Lions tour in 2001 and the World Cup in 2003 the IRFU Charitable Trust are organising The 2005 Irish Lions Rugby Challenge Walk in New Zealand in July 2005, to raise funds for seriously injured rugby players.

It will take the form of a 100km walk in Wellington, Lake Taupo and Auckland during the 2nd and 3rd tests from 29th June to 12th July.

Participants are required to raise a minimum of 5,500. The package includes flights to and from New Zealand, 4 star accommodation, guaranteed entry to the 2nd test in Wellington and the 3rd test in Auckland, souvenir tracksuit and bag.

All proceeds go the IRFU Charitable Trust for injured players and enquiries should be made to:
