The Ireland tour squad gathered last night in The City West Hotel in Saggart to prepare for the tour to South Africa.

The Ireland tour squad gathered last night in The City West Hotel in Saggart to prepare for the tour to South Africa with the dispute over tour fee, match and bonus payments resolved following weekend negotiations.

IRFU Chief Executive Philip Browne met with the players on Friday evening after the warm-up game and further discussion with IRUPA Chief Executive Niall Wods (pictured) on Saturday evening resulted in a satisfactory conclusion.

The squad will leave for South Africa on Saturday (5th).
