Munster coach Alan Gaffney supervised his squad’s last Cork training session at a wet and miserable Temple Hill yesterday where after a slight scare, Gaffney declared everyone fit and ready to go.

Scrum-half Peter Stringer retired early having taken a knock on the wrist but Gaffney later confirmed that everything was ok with his number 9.

Munster will train again on Thursday morning after which Gaffney and Jim Williams will leave for Dublin where the side will be announced in a joint press conference with Warren Gatland and Lawrence Dalllaglio at the City West Hotel in Saggart Co Dublin.

The Munster squad will leave for Dublin on Saturday on Saturday morning and return south on Sunday evening.
