Heineken Cup 2004/2005

European Rugby Cup (ERC) has announced the format for the Heineken Cup 2004/2005 tournament with the pool stages reverting to the pre-World Cup formula.

The six Pool stages of next season’s Heineken Cup will revert to the pre-World Cup formula of three blocks of two rounds, starting in October and completing in early January, 2005.

The quarter-finals and semi-finals will be staged in April – with a three-week gap – with the Heineken Cup final being played on the weekend of 21s/22nd May 2005.

Heineken Cup 2004/2005.
ROUND 1 – 22nd/23rd/24th October 2004.
ROUND 2 – 29th/30th/31st October
ROUND 3 – 3rd/4th/5th December
ROUND 4 – 10th/11th/12th December
ROUND 5 – 7th/8th/9th January, 2005
ROUND 6 – 14th/15th/16th January
Heineken Cup Quarter-Finals – 1st/2nd/3rd April
Heineken Cup Semi-Finals – 22nd/23rd/24th April

Heineken Cup Final – 21st/22nd May 2005.
