Two Irish Exiles players, Paul Doran Jones and Peter Phelan are included in the Ireland U19 squad that will compete in the FIRA World Cup in South Africa at the end of March.
Paul, a prop, is currently studying and playing with Dublin University. A former Wellington College pupil, Paul came through the Exiles screening camp in June last year where he caught the eye of coach Allen Clarke.
Peter played for Ireland U18’s in the Four Nations tournament in Scotland last season. He has been in the Exiles system for nearly 3 years and is currently part of the Newcastle Falcons Academy.
