Ireland managed what no other side in the world has managed at Twickenham over the past four and a half years, when they defeated the world champions 19-13 this afternoon.

Ireland led 12-10 at the break thanks to four Ronan O’Gara penalties and they went further ahead when Girvan Dempsey scored in the corner for o’Gara to add the conversion.
