23 unanswered points in the second half gave Celtic Warriors a 40-17 victory over Connacht in the Celtic League game played at The Brewery Field, Saturday.

Connacht opened brightly and tries from David Hewitt and Conor McPhillips had them 17-3 in front. The Warriors replied with scores from Aisea Havili and Jon Bryant to leave the sides tied 17 points apiece at the interval. Then, in the second half, the home side took control with Chris Horsman getting his side’s thrird try and the fourth, which earned them a bonus point, coming two minutes from time from replacement number eight Ryan Jones

This victory leaves Celtic Warriors in fourth place in the table on 30 points, (the same as Munster) just seven points behind leaders Ulster
