Brian O’Driscoll sustained a hamstring injury while playing for Leinster
Lions against Sale Sharks in the Heineken Cup Pool Three match in Lansdowne Road
last Friday Night.

Following a scan, the prognosis is that the injury will require a four to six
week recovery period. While this injury may jeopardise Brian O’Driscolls participation
in the start of the RBS Six Nations campaign, the Irish management are not ruling
him out at this stage.
