Perpignan lock Christophe Porcu and Cardiff Blue flanker Dan Baugh have a January 5th date in Dublin to face an independent Disciplinary Committee for alleged mis-coduct.
An independent Disciplinary Committee has been appointed by ERC to hear two citing complaints lodged following Round Two of the Heineken Cup.The Disciplinary Committee will comprise Douglas Hunter (SRU,
Chairman), Jonathan Dance (RFU) and John Spencer (RFU) and will conduct the hearings in Dublin on Monday, January 5th, 2004.
The citing complaints are:
Christophe Porcu (Perpignan) cited by Celtic Warriors for three alleged incidents of punching re Perpignan v Celtic Warriors match played 13 December, 2003.
Dan Baugh (Cardiff Blues) cited by Leinster Lions for alleged
stamping and kicking an opponent’s head re Cardiff Blues v Leinster Lions match played December 12th, 2003.
The independent Disciplinary Committee which will adjudicate in this case was chosen by the Chairman of
Discipline, Professor Lorne Crerar.
