Celtic Cup – Quinlan Cleared For Leinster

Leinster Lions centre David Quinlan will line out against Ulster in the Celtic Cup at Ravenhill tomorrow, following a Celtic League disciplinary hearing which was held on Wednesday evening.

Quinlan was sent off, for what the referee described as verbal abuse, late in injury time of Leinster’s defeat by Edinburgh in the Celtic League game in Donnybrook last week but that red card was obviously seen as adequate sanction which will come as very good news for all cocerned in Leinster ahead of tonight’s difficult assignment in Belfast.

Despite the 30-33 loss coach Gary Ella has kept faith with the team that started against Edinburgh. Matt Leek is also available at out-half having recovered from a groin strain.
