Ulster chalked up their second successive Celtic League victory with a
comfortable win over Gwent Dragons at Ravenhill.
Ulster proved too strong for the struggling Wales outfit, running in four tries
to claim a bonus point in an impressive performance.
Andy Ward powered over for a superb try in the 28th then Tony Whirter burst over
for his side’s second try. That was converted by Larkin for a commanding 23-6
lead before Tyrone Howe added a fourth try for the bonus point.

Edinburgh came from behind for an unlikely Celtic League victory over an erratic
Leinster at Donnybrook. The visitors won with an injury-time penalty
from out-half Brendan Laney following the dismissal of centre DavidQuinlan for
foul play.
Gary Ella’s side were 14 points in front in the final quarter, before a Laney-inspired
Edinburgh scored two late tries to level by the 84th minute. Leinster’s tries
came from scrum-half Brian O’Riordan while Gordon D’Arcy scored his first two
of the tournament.

Glasgow hurtled to earth with a bump at Hughenden as dark horses Connacht
completed their dream treble over Scotland’s pro teams this season. Joe
Beardshaw’s opened the scoring for Glasgow helped by Moffat with a try. But,
Howarth was wide with the kick. Connacht’s scrum-half Mike Walls darted through
for a fine opportunist score, converted by McHugh. Connacht grabbed total control
with a further burst of points before the break.
McHugh banged over two more penalties and converted a try by substitute wing
Matt Mostyn to leave the home side in trouble. Their third try was claimed by
wing Conor McPhillips, with McHugh completing his conversion hat-trick.
Glasgow eventually broke through with a score by Graeme Morrison and a Lee
Harrison effort, converted by substitute Dan Parks. But the home side were never
really in the hunt as Connacht took the points.
