Ireland’s World Cup squad team up with Simon Casey in new version of Phil Coulter composition for World Cup 2003.

Ireland’s Call, with words and music written by legendry Irish composer Phil Coulter, was, in accordance with general World rugby trends, created in order to give Irish rugby its own anthem and it reflects the community and passion of rugby in the four provinces of Ireland.

The song has gained widespread identity and popularity since making its debut during the 1995 World Cup in South Africa.

Ireland’s Call has since been re-recorded to feature new Irish singing sensation Simon Casey accompanied by players from Ireland’s World 2003 Cup squad and will again be Ireland’s Anthem throughout World Cup 2003.

Ireland’s Call

Come the day
And come the hour
Come the power and the glory
We have come to answer
Our country’s call.
From the four proud provinces of Ireland
Chorus:
Ireland, Ireland
Together standing tall
Shoulder to shoulder
We’ll answer Ireland’s call
Repeat Chorus..
