Tomorrow morning, the Irish management will reveal the names of the thirty players who will form the Ireland Rugby World Cup 2003 Squad at a specially convened press conference in Lansdowne Road.

The final deliberations on the composition of that squad will take place this evening following on from the Ireland v Scotland final warm-up game and after the team management have taken into account the happenings in Murrayfield, and from the games on Friday night in Donnybrook (Leinster v Munster), and The Gnoll (Neath/Swansea Ospreys v Ulster).

Forwards coach Niall O’Donovan and team manager Brian O’Brien were in Dublin to see how things unfolded there while assistant coach Declan Kidney was in Wales to watch the Ulster game.

And soon the waiting will be over and the 30 names of the players who will be representing Ireland in the 2003 RWC will be announced.

The first place that the news of the squad will appear will be here on www.irishrugby.ie moments after team manager Brian O’Brien reads out the names at the media conference at Lansdowne Road.

Shortly after 11am we will carry details of the squad and follow that up with re-action from the Irish camp and of course announce the winners of our Messageboarders RWC Squad.

So make a date with www.irishrugby.ie for Sunday morning at 11am.
