Out half Paul Burke (Harlequins) sustained a hamstring injury in training on Monday, 11 August 2003, and has withdrawn from the 22-man squad from which the Ireland team to play Wales will be announced

Out half Paul Burke (Harlequins) sustained a hamstring injury in training on
Monday, 11 August 2003, and has withdrawn from the 22-man squad from which the
Ireland team to play Wales in next Saturday’s permanent tsb international
at Lansdowne Road will be announced on Tuesday August 12th.

His replacement will be named when the team is named at the Banqueting Centre,
City West Hotel, Tuesday, August 12, at 12.45 pm approx.
