Keith Wood, Brian O’Driscoll & Anthony Foley, who were not available to play on the Summer Tour are all included in the squad of 22 from which the Ireland team to play Wales will be chosen.

Keith Wood, Brian O’Driscoll, Anthony Foley and Shane Horgan, who were not available to play on the Summer Tour to Australia, Tonga and Samoa; are all back in action and included in the squad of 22 from which the Ireland team to play Wales at Lansdowne Road on Saturday, August 16 will be chosen.

The team and replacements will be announced on Tuesday next at the Banqueting Centre, City West Hotel at approx 12.45 pm when Management and players will be available for interview.

The squad will take part in an Open training session on Tuesday next, August 12 at Cill Dara rugby club, Kildare from 11 pm to 12 noon. (* Directions to Cill Dara rugby club – southbound M 7 to Kildare Town, take right hand turn at Silken Thomas Public House (before main junction lights) and then hard right turn at Chemist shop; onwards to V and take left, proceeding 500 yards to junction and take left – Cill Dara club three-quarters mile on right.)

On Friday next, August 15, at 12 noon; Ireland team coach and captain will hold Conference at Lansdowne Road (entrance via Lansdowne Lane).

The 22 man squad from which the team to play Wales in the permanent tsb international at Lansdowne Road on Saturday, August 16 will be chosen, is:
