Centre Morgan Turinui passed a fitness test earlier today and has been cleared to make his debut in the Wallabies Test against Ireland in Perth on Saturday.

Turinui passed an early morning fitness test today before taking part in a rigorous session at Australia’s Coffs Harbour base.

The Waratah centre suffered an abdominal strain during gym training earlier in the week and the Australian management immediately drafted in Mat Rogers and placed him on standby.

However, with the injury to Turinui now cleared up, national coach Eddie Jones has decided to send Rogers back to Sydney to play club rugby and he will not be among the Wallaby party when they arrive in Perth later this evening.
