Wood And Two Wallaces Included in Tour Squad

Injuries have ruled out Brian O’Driscoll, Shane Horgan, John Hayes, Jeremy Staunton and Neil Doak from Ireland’s upcoming Summer Tour to Australia, Tonga and Samoa.

Injuries have ruled out Brian O’Driscoll (hamstring), Shane Horgan (thigh), John Hayes (groin), Jeremy Staunton (groin) and Neil Doak (shoulder) from Ireland’s upcoming Summer Tour to Australia, Tonga and Samoa.

A team captain will be named prior to each Test when Ireland play Australia in Perth on Saturday, June 8th, Tonga on Saturday, June 14th and against Samoa on Friday, June 20th.

Keith Wood will travel with the tour party as an additional player for training purposes. The 41 strong Summer Tour squad is,
