This year’s Super 12 final will be an all-New Zealand affair following the Auckland Blues, six tries to three, 42-21 win over ACT Brumbies in Eden Park on Saturday (May 17th).

The Blues led 22-0 at half time but then had to survive a Brumbies fight-back at the end of which their lead had being whittled down to eight points (22-14). Joel Wilson and Owen Finegan scored those tries for the Brumbies with Joe Roff converting both but the Blues composed themselves and it ended with a try from Doug Howlett and the conversion from Carlos Spencer to set up a final against the Cantebury Crusaders.
