The Ireland Youth (U18) side went down 44-7 to Wales in Kelso yesterday evening in the second round of matches in the Four Nations Tournament.

The Ireland Youth (U18) side went down 44-7 to Wales in Kelso yesterday evening in the second round of matches in the Four Nations Tournament. It was the second time the Irish conceded 44 points having lost 44-14 to Scotland at the weekend.
The Irish enjoyed the better of the opening half and led 7-5 at the break thanks to a Michael O’Hea try which was converted by Ian Hanly. However, in the second half the bigger Welsh side made all the running to run out comfortable winners.
