Munster coach Alan Gaffney yesterday named a 26 strong squad, for Sunday’s Heineken Cup quarter-final clash with Leicester Tigers at Welford Road, after the morning training session at Thomond Park.

It is expected that the main area of debate will centre on the back division with several options open to Gaffney and his selectors.

Rob Henderson’s return to full fitness has him vying for the number 12 shirt along with Jason Holland and with Anthony Horgan very much back in the frame having recovered from injury, there are now three players – John Kelly and Mossie Lawlor being the others – looking for the two wing positions.

Munster will conduct their final training session before departure, in Cork tomorrow and the starting line-up announced possibly on Friday afternoon at the earliest.
