Kilballyowen: Bruff 19-19 Ards.

Kilkenny out themselves into pole position to advance to the AIB league when they defeated Monivea 34-5 in Foulkstown. The visitor’s hopes were not helped by the loss of flnaker Kieran Concarr who hurt himself in the pre-match warm-up and the home sides scored late tries to earn themselves a valuable bonus point.

In the other game played in Co Limerick, Bruff and Ards drew 19 points apiece.
