The noon deadline for registration of two extra players for the knock-out stages of the Heineken Cup was reached today (Friday) with Leinster opting to go for Ulster players while Munster, not surprisingly, chose from within their own province.

Leinster have named Ulster pair Paddy Wallace and Bryan Young as their additional players while Munster have gone for David Wallace and current Under 21 international Richard Lane. Lane scored a try today in Ireland U21’s 20-19 defeat by Wales in Ebbw Vale.
