Super Irish Outflank The French

Five penalties from David Humphries, four in the first half, gave Ireland a suberb win in the RBS Six Nations Championship today in Lansdowne Road

Ireland led 12-3 at half-time but two Francois Gelez penalties reduced the deficit to the three (12-9) before Humphreys was on the mark again in the 72nd minute to give the Irish some breathing space. Gelez kicked his fourth penalty with six minutes to go. However, the Irish side held out to win, strengthening their Six Nations Campaign.
