Dolo Out Of Ireland Womens Side

Prop Magali Dolo (Old Belvedere), has been ruled out of the Ireland Womens side for Saturday’s championship game against France at Thomond Park (6.30)with a shoulder injury

Old Belvedere prop, Magali Dolo, has been ruled out of the Ireland Womens side for Saturday’s championship game against France at Thomond Park (6.30) with a shoulder injury picked up at weekend training. She will be replaced by replaced by Cooke’s Gillian McAllister.

There is also a doubt over Jean Lonergan, who is struggling with a knee injury. She faces a fitness test on Friday with Fiona Coughlan (Bohemians) on standby to replace the Shannon hooker, if the results are negative.

France, current grand slam holders, come to Limerick on the back of two defeats to Scotland and England.
Ireland, who recorded their first chamoionship win against Spain, have never beaten the French but, confidence in the Irish camp is high following that win in Spain and playing in Thomond will be a further boost to this Irish side.
