Munster v Gloucester Video On Sale

Munster v Gloucester Video On Sale

A video of the Munster v Gloucester Heineken Cup game will be on sale throughout the country from Friday next (March 7th). The video, using RTE footage of the game, has been produced by Empire Media Productions, one of the leading independent rugby video production companies in Britain. In the past EMP have produced,
“And Then There Were Six – The Story of the Five Nations Championship.”
“Legends of Welsh Rugby.
and “Bill McLaren – Rugby At It’s Best.”

Titled “The Miracle Match”, it’s a 90 minute production introduced by Mick Galwey, featuring interviews with captain Jim Williams and several players who look back on what has been described as “the greatest day in Munster’s Heineken Cup history.”

Explaining how the project came about, Munster Branch Commercial Executive, Maria Aylward said, “We were approached by Empire Media who wanted to produce a video of the game. Co-incidentally our offices in Cork and Limerick had been inundated with enquiries from people wanting to know how they could get their hands on a video of the game. So the proposal came at a very good time from our point of view. It gives us the opportunity to promote rugby, not only in the province but throughout the country and to that end we were delighted to support the production.”

The video (16.95) will have its official launch next Thursday morning in Bank of Ireland South Mall, Cork and Bank of Ireland 94 O’Connell St, Limerick. It will go on sale in outlets nationwide** from Friday and will be available from the Munster Branch offices in Thomond Park and Musgrave Park from Monday (March 10th). It will also be on sale in the IRFU shops at Lansdowne Road on Saturday (8th).
(** A list of outlets will be published on Www.munsterrugby.ie)
