The Ireland A and Under 21 sides kicked off the weekend in positive fashion with wins in Rovigo and Viadana, the A’s winning 28-11 and the Under 21’s on 30-19 scoreline.

Ireland Under 21s had a 30-19 win over Italy in a bright and sunny Viadana this afternoon, having led 16-9 at half-time. The Irish scored four tries, one each for Richard Lane, Tommy Bowe, Niall Ronan and skipper Stephen Keogh, while out-half Michael Rainey kicked two conversions and two penalties.
