Ireland Women Lose 25-0

A disappointing result for the girls in green as an all -domineering Scottish pack led the way in Edinburgh today. A virtuoso performance from Scottish scrum-half Paula Chalmers who contributed over half of her sides points added to the damage for the Irish as their miserable results run in the 6 Nations continues.

Ireland coach Donal O Leary watched as his charges folded under consistent Scottish pressure.
Scotland were, all round very powerful up front, and dominated in this area throughout the game. We let ourselves down by allowing Scotland to play their game freely and ultimately we didn’t compete for the entire eighty minutes
The girls are disappointed at the result and know that as a team they did themselves no justice and let themselves down
