Team manager Brian O’Brien will announce the Ireland side to play Scotland,/b> at a lunchtime press conference today following training which will be held at Naas RFC (weather permitting). The pitch at the Division Three club has taken a hammmering over the past few days and the morning training session may be changed to another venue.

The good news from an Irish point of view is that Ronan O’Gara did some running at yesterday’s training session thus improving his chances of being named in the starting line-up when it is announced from the Citywest Hotel today.
