Although Ronan O’Gara took no part in the Ireland team training yesterday in Naas RFC, the Irish management expect him to be fit to take his place in the side when they name it tomorow. O’Gara (pictured) picked up the injury in the Celtic League final against Neath, in an incident that led to Neath flanker Brett Sinkinson being handed a six match ban by the Welsh Rugby Union.
As a result of the injury, O’Gara hasn’t managed to take any part in training since joining the national squad.

Meanwhile, an aggravated hamstring injury has forced Connacht wing Ted Robinson to withdraw from the Ireland A side ahead of thei match with Scotland on Saturday (7.0pm) in Bridgehaugh, Stirling.
His place goes to James Topping (Ballymena/Ulster).
