Sinkinson Gets Six Match Ban

Neath flanker Brett Sinkinson has been banned for six matches by the Welsh Rugby Union Disciplinary Committee following the hearing of his case yesterday(Thursday) afternoon.

Neath flanker Brett Sinkinson has been banned for six matches by the Welsh Rugby Union Disciplinary Committee following the hearing of his case yesterday(Thursday) afternoon.

Following an incident involving Sinkinson and Ronan O’Gara in the Celtic League Final, which forced O’Gara to leave the field, Munster, as per tournament rules, asked the IRFU Disciplinary Chairman to view the video of the incident. He in turn referred the matter to the WRU who handed down the decision.
Sinkinson’s suspension takes effect immediately.
