To mark his 100th cap for Leinster, Shane Byrne is holding his Testimonial Dinner, which will be held on Saturday, 8 February in the Burlington Hotel.

Shane Byrne celebrated his 100th cap for Leinster when he marched onto the field in Donnybrook against Montferrand in December.

After seeing his province overcome French giants Montferrand, 12-9, Shane was presented with a specially commissioned jersey, that had ‘Shane 100’ stitched onto the front.

Shane, who has played rugby for Leinster for the past decade, is also holding a testimonial dinner in the Burlington Hotel on Saturday, 8 February. This corporate dinner will honour Shane’s contribution to Irish Rugby, and celebrate his days with Blackrock College, Leinster, Irish Schools, Ireland U21’s and Ireland. Shane will also be honoured for being the first Leinster player to be capped 100 times for Leinster.

Some of Ireland’s well known rugby stars and former internationals will be present at the dinner also. If your interested in joining Shane at this very special dinner, contact Jennifer Agnew at +353-55-29474 or +353-87-9872322, email jennifer@coolattin.com

The main benefactors of the dinner are the IRFU Charitable Trust and the National Council for the Blind.
