Leinster announce Lansdowne venue for quarter final

Leinster have announced that they will play quarter final opponents Biarritz at Lansdowne instead of their home grounds at Donnybrook.

The Heineken Cup quarter final between the Leinster Lions and Biarritz Olympique will take place at Lansdowne Road on April 12.

The match is to be played at Lansdowne to accommodate all the loyal fans that would like to see Leinster in the quarter final clash

Coach, Matt Williams did not seem put out by the fixture. He commented: “”We are now in a position to accommodate all our loyal fans and also give many more fans the opportunity to see and support Leinster, the number one ranked team in the Heineken Cup after the pool stages.”

The match kicks off at 3.35 pm.
