Wallace and Henderson Cleared To Resume Playing

Internationals David Wallace and Rob Henderson have received the all-clear to resume playing and could possibly be involved with their clubs in the AIB League at the weekend.

Internationals David Wallace and Rob Henderson have received the all-clear to resume playing and could possibly be involved with their clubs in the AIB League at the weekend. Both players saw their medical specialists yesterday (Monday) and were declared fit to resume contact.Wallace hasn’t played since the Heineken Cup final last season while Henderson picked up his forearm injury in the opening game against Gloucester in this year’s Heineken Cup. Whether either will be called into the Munster squad for the Celtic League final in less than a fortnight’s time is as yet unclear but Munster coach Alan Gaffney expressed the hope that both might take some part in their club’s AIB League matches at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Girvan Dempsey is placed on the doubrful list for Ireland’s opening Royal Bank of Scotland Six Nations game against Scotland (Feb 16th) after retiring injured early in Leinster’s game against Bristol on Sunday.
