At an IRFU Disciplinary hearing last evening, Tuesday, January 7th, 2003; Ulster prop forward, Justin Fitzpatrick was suspended for 10 days, effective from January 3rd to 13th, for a breach of Law 10.4.a.

Fitzpatrick had been sent off during the Celtic League semi final between Munster and Ulster at Thomond Park on Friday, January 3rd, 2003.

The suspension means that Fitzpatrick will miss the game at the weekend in Cardiff but will be back in time for the crucial home game against Northampton Saints.
