All Aboard The Parker Pen Special

A special train has been organised to ferry suppporters to Connacht’s crucial Parker Pen Challenge Cup quarter-final match against Pontypridd in Ericsson Park.

Iarnrsd Iireann has announced special arrangements for the Parker Pen Challenge Cup Quarter Final between Connacht and Pontypridd on Saturday in Ericsson Park, Athlone (Kick-off 5.30 pm).

A train will depart Galway at 15.10hrs (3.10pm) and will serve Athenry at 15.25hrs and Ballinasloe at 15.50hrs and will arrive in Athlone at 16.15hrs . The return train will depart Athlone at 20.55hrs (8.55pm) and will arrive in Galway at 22.00hrs (10pm).

The return fare will be 10 from Galway, 8 from Athenry and 6 from Ballinasloe. Children under 16 years are half the Adult fare.

Ericsson Park is approximately 10 minutes walk from Athlone Railway Station.

Match tickets, costing fifteen Euro for adults and five for U-16’s, are available from the Connacht Branch office at Galway Sportsground, Keller Travel in Ballinasloe, Bank of Ireland, Church Street, Athlone, and The Bounty’, Ericsson Park, Athlone.

Supporters are asked to purchase tickets in advance of the big game.
