They scored six first half tries and added more in the second half, those scores coming from Kieron Dawson and Anthony Foley. Fiji scored their opening try five minutes into the second half when Alivereti Mocelutu got through after a rare bout of Fiji pressure but Ireland replied with those tries from Dawson and Foley and the game ended with Maggs completing his hat-trick with an injury time try.
