Whitehouse slipped and fell on ice while in Russia and broke his left leg. A second official due to officiate in Lansdowne Road on Sunday, no 1 touch-judge Pablo Deluca, has opted to remain in Argentina and his place will be taken by Stuart Dickinson. On Saturday, Dickinson will be number 1 touch-judge in Twickenham for the England v Australia game with Donal Courtney running one line.
Dave McHugh will be in Paris doing the line in the France v New Zealand game.
Alan Lewis will be touch-judge in Edinburgh at the Scotland v South Africa clash and Alain Rolland will fulfill a similiar role in Cardiff during the Wales v Canada encounter.
