Fijians Will Announce Side on Thursday.

The Fijians expect to name their side for Sunday’s permanent tsb international against Ireland, on Thursday

The Fijians arrived in Dublin last Sunday morning having flown from Birmingham Airport and they will stay in The Burlington Hotel. They had a swimming pool season shortly after arrival and in the afternoon went down to the Riverview centre for a light training spin.
They used the facilities at Wanderers’ Merrion Road ground for their first training session but since then have opted for the back pitch at Lansdowne Road for their preparations. They will hold an open training session there tomorrow (Wed) between 10am and 12 noon and expect to pick from a full squad when they announce their side on Thursday.

The last time the sides met was in 1995 at Lansdowne Road when Ireland, captained by Jim Staples, won 44-8.
